I went to Martinez Waterfront Park with a plein air group. What captured my eyes was not the water, but a little red caboose in the green shade. To chase the fast moving shadow, I had to speed up my painting. I really enjoyed those two wonderful hours. Of course I did a little touch up after I came home.

In the old days, the death rate of infants were very high. Tigers were a symbol of energy, vigor and strength to ancient Chinese people. They dressed up their babies with tiger hats, so the tigers could watch their kids to grow up peacefully. People who live in the plateau area carried this tradition for thousands of years. Their rosy cheeks are the result of lacking oxygen ( because of the high altitude ).
Last August, I had a walk after dinner. When I went by the Club House of our community , I saw this car parking right in front. The reflection of the sunset on the car's windows attracted me right away. I took a picture for the inspiration of my future painting. Now the moment has come. I enjoyed every second when I painted this car.

Richard golfing
When this painting was done, I took a photo with my camera. Unfortunately I forgot to turn off the date display. I just realized it and I am too lazy to take another one.
